You know who you are…
You’ve been online for a bit, not as long as some but not quite that long either. You’ve gone on a date or two, but nothing fantastic transpired. You’re not that thrilled about updating your profile or responding to your emails, yet you really don’t want to be single either.
I know the drill. I’ve been there and heard all about it from people just like you. But I’m here to say that it’s too soon to give up. Here’s five reasons why you shouldn’t give up on Internet dating:
1. You can’t afford the calories. Sure, it’s easier to meet someone when you’re out at the bar and half in the bag, but it goes against your diet and your budget!
2. There are ways to get better results. If you have your online profile professionally written, you just might get better results. You’ll never know if you don’t try. Sign up for the Dating Tales online dating profile writing service and find out.
3. It’s the summer and you shouldn’t waste that tan. You look great. Summer time is the best time to enjoy a little online dating. You look great, the sun shines longer, there is so much to do outside, and people are feeling frisky. If you are really thinking about quitting, at least wait until the fall.
4. Another dating site might be better. If all you’ve tried is Match, then you might be missing out. There are dozens of single sites where you can meet someone. Give Yahoo! Personals a try. They even have a free trial that you can sign up for by clicking this link – Yahoo! Personals 7-Day Free Trial.
5. What’s the alternative? I’m not saying you have to date to be happy, but if you want to be in a relationship and you aren’t meeting people, then online dating is the perfect (yeah, I said it, PERFECT) way to get out there into the dating scene.
Online dating puts you in control of your love life, at least to a certain degree. You might not like it, but I really don’t see a better way to focus on your target market:)
Happy Dating!

I agree. Don’t give up too soon. Especially if having a blind date fixed up by your friends isn’t your style. You have control over whose profile you’re going to read, and you have control over responding and taking a step foward to meet up for a date.
Cara – Thanks for stopping…and you’re right, control definitely makes it easier.
