It’s hard to be original sometimes, especially when you’re trying to talk about yourself in 250 words or less.
No pressure!
If you are struggling for creative things to say in your profile, here are a few ideas to get those creative juices flowing:
- Instead of saying you’re tall, dark, and handsome, give other unique details about yourself. For example, you could tell the world about your shoe size, the color that looks best on you, your eye glass prescription, or your obsession for perfectly manicured fingernails.
- Make a joke! But keep in clean.
- Write captions for the three or four photos you posted on your profile. Mention when the picture was taken, where you were, why that was a good day, etc.
- It’s okay to say things like: “That’s a long story so you’ll have to ask me about that later” or “Want to know more? Just ask.” So many of us are afraid to write emails because we don’t know what to say. Make it easy on the other guy or gal and beg a few questions in your profile.
