Candy at its Best – Compliment #30

by Sara on December 7, 2008

Today is National Cotton Candy Day! The National Confectioner’s Association celebrates it. I love it. Kids everywhere go crazy for it. And what’s not to love?

There are several patents for cotton candy, but the first came in 1899. Cotton candy is popular at circuses because it was first introduced there. Although the process is a little complicated, its ingredients aren’t. It is made with mostly butter and sugar.

Those founders deserve a compliment. Thanks for all these years of yummy treats.
