Your List of Holiday Compliments — Compliment #s 18, 19, and 20

by Sara on November 25, 2008

With Thanksgiving upon us it’s hard not to think about all the great things worth complimenting. It’s not just good food and a warm house to be thankful for, it’s all of our friends and family–including those distant aunts and uncles. So, in light of the fact that you may have trouble thinking of compliments for your distant relatives, I thought I’d help ya’ll out with this list of holiday-themed compliments as part of my compliment challenge (I’m giving one compliment a day through the year).

1. Where did you get your holiday-themed sweater? You look great in red. It’s amazing the way they hid the battery for Rudolph’s nose underneath all that yarn.

2. Last time I saw you, you were a lot smaller too! My, you have aged well.

3. Whomever made this pound cake did a fabulous job. Really, Sour Patch Kids were a much better choice over gum drops.

When all your relatives ask about your non-existant boyfriend, don’t let that get you down. Instead, tell them you just signed up for an online singles site and should have a new BF by Christmastime. For help with your profile, sign up for the Dating Tales profile writing service.
