Transgendered Acceptance, Way to Go — Compliment #2

It’s day two of my Compliment Challenge and this compliment came to me by way of ABC News.

Apparently, a smallish town in Oregon re-elected its Mayor, Stu Rasmussen, who also happens to be transgendered. What’s more amazing is that this is her second term, and her transition from male to female occurred during that first term.

Way to go people of Silverton, Oregon. You are far more understanding than 98% of the rest of the country and you deserve a compliment for that.
