Using the ol’ Ben Franklin in Deciding to Break Up
This is the phrase people use to describe the pros and cons list you create to decide if someone is right for you. We’ve all done it. You take a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle. On one side you write down all the reasons why you love him and on the other side you write down all the reasons you shouldn’t love him.
Ross did this in an episode of Friends. You know the one where Rachel sees the list and then breaks up with him for one of the many times.
Anyway, a friend of mine just completed hers and darn it, I just have to share. It’s damn funny.
| I Love Him | I Love Him Not |
| He will hold my hand | He always wants to spoon |
| He likes the same movies as me | He cries at movies even I don’t cry during |
| He is an excellent cook | He chews with his mouth open LOUDLY |
| His family is very sweet | He talks bad about his grandmother; says she stinks |
| He rubs my feet | He sucks on my toes |

I agree with her… I could never date someone who had a stinky grandmother either.
Nobody likes stink.
