Chick Flics. Tis’ the Season
Christmas may be the time for family feel goods and action adventures movies, but January and February are the time for romantic comedies. Yesterday I saw 27 Dresses and was surprised that it was not only comedic and romantic, but clever. If you’ve been a bridesmaid or ever wanted to be a bride, you’ll be able to relate.

I was also delighted to see a preview for the Sex and the City movie. I knew it was coming, but still surprised to see all four of those lovely ladies faces. There won’t be any plot spoiling or sneak peaking here so visit the Sex and the City web site for more info.

Definitely waiting for the Sex and the City movie. Think the movie theatre will let me bring 3 rowdy under-5s with?
Thanks for stopping by the lame-o-ville blog and promoting yourself shamelessly
Sure why not. You can bring whomever you want.
And you’re welcome, back at you.
love chick flicks. my guilty pleasure. the best one ever is “first wives club” cuz it makes me feel so empowered. “when harry met sally” is the best chick flick to watch with a guy. i have low expectations for sex and the city movie— i don’t understand it when they make a movie out of a tv show. and they usually suck. i am, of course, basing this on the ONLY show turned movie i’ve ever seen. good sample size.
well what movie are you referring to? i want to know.
i think its good to expect tv shows and books turned movie to be bad. but i see them anyway to satisfy the imagination.
the only one that I can think of where I have seen the movie of the TV show is “The Simpsons”. The movie wasn’t HORRIBLE, but it wasn’t great, and certainly not better than any other regular episode of that show.
I can’t speak to the Simpsons. Not a huge fan.
